In this new book, Tim's writing flows out of his life-long spiritual journey. It incorporates insights he has gained from his experiences in Church ministry, in the business world as both an entrepreneur and management consultant, and in his family roles as a husband, stepparent and grandparent.
Timothy D.Fallon has served as a layperson in a variety of ministries within the Roman Catholic Church, including Director of Religious Education for St. John the Evangelist Church in Jackson, Michigan, and Director of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Kalamazoo, Michigan. In 1978, the Bishop of Kalamazoo appointed him to the position of Delegate for Spiritual Development, and he became the first layperson in the United States to hold a vicar-level position in spiritual development. In that position, he supervised all ministries of spiritual development, including Priestly Life and Ministry, Vocations, Worship, Religious Education, Youth Ministry, and Marriage and Family Ministry.
In 1981, Tim became an independent consultant, and he spent three years speaking, conducting workshops, and giving retreats across the United States. He is an accomplished platform speaker, workshop facilitator, and retreat director. His best-known workshop, Turning Pain and Frustration into Growth, has been offered to priests, religious, and lay ministers in more than 25 Catholic dioceses in the United States.
In 1984, Tim founded TSI Consulting Partners, Inc., a management consulting firm that specializes in improving organizational effectiveness. For the past 20 years, he has provided strategic leadership to the firm as its president, while serving a national client base in the areas of strategy formulation, aligning organizational structure with strategic requirements, and leadership effectiveness. He clients include Fortune 500 companies, mid-sized growth companies, trade associations, philanthropies, universities, public health organizations, and community organizations.
Tim graduated from Central Michigan University with a B.S. Degree in Mathematics, and he holds a Master of Arts in Theology from the University of San Francisco.
Tim has been married to his wife, Carla, for more than 20 years. He has four grown stepchildren and six grandchildren. He is a private pilot who enjoys playing golf and doing anything that involves his grandchildren.
